Swing’s Coffee Days . Top 4 Cafè

I’m sort of a freelance designer nowadays. Means I’m not working in a proper office, my office is anywhere, most of the time I work at home. During my coffee-mate jobless period, my “office” usually in a cafe. Cafe we went is uncountable.

Some friends asked me to write a list of coffee shop that I went, so I decided to sort of a top 4 cafe that I love and a good place for me to work (usually I went on the weekdays). Bare in mind I’m not a coffee specialist, so I can’t comment much of their coffee I drink, and I only drink cappuccino. I can just tell it is nice, good taste, I like it or BAD. And I don’t usually had my meal in the cafe too, save money. LOL

1. The Brew Culture
There is always my number 1 cafe, love the environment and coffee too. Enjoy seeing the barista brewing the coffee for us, when the time coffee/mocha was served, I can straight away feel the passion of the barista brewing every cup of them. The latte art presented on the coffee and mocha is stunningly perfect! Not the fancy one yet it was really nice.

I always prefer sitting at the table that near to the wall that electric plug was there with a 4feet table, just good for me to place my huge laptop, our drinks and sometimes dessert.

The sunlight from the window is warm enough, just really enjoy doing my work there.

2. Wood and Steel Cafè / Gallery

Friendly staff, cozy ambience, nice music. Coffee was good too. I did tried their food, taste good with reasonable price. Been here around 5 times, sometimes work, sometimes enjoying with friends. Prefer to come during the weekdays or not-so-pack time.

Love their wood & steel furniture and also their art piece. Wish to bring them home.

They have plenty of electric plug, just make sure you choose a good seats.

They have 2 stories, I usually just stay at the ground floor. And there is a gallery shop next to the cafe, can go to have a look.

Address: 33G, (Ground Floor), Jalan PJU 5/20E, The Strand, Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya.
Operating hours: 9am – 11pm, Friday 3pm – Midnight, Close on every Monday.

3. Rekindle

Love the cozy ambience too, and it is the most convenient cafe for me. Their coffee wasn’t my choice, I always drink their fresh orange juice. It is purely orange only without adding any sugars. We always spend hours sitting there to do work, read books or chit chat.

They are getting famous, so it was always very pack during the weekends.

4. Three Little Birds Coffee

Went there once only because it is really too far for me.
Peaceful environment with husky modern interior. The furniture kinda like Wood & Steel.

The only time I went be sit at the bar site table which facing outside of the cafe. Quite good for doing work and their bar stool is special. Haha!

They have outdoor seats which kinda spacious with the greeny environment.

Address: D7. (Lot G-18) Jalan Sentul, Sentul East, Kuala Lumpur.

(Gonna upload some pictures of the cafe later)
